Restaurant General Manager (Expatriate/Local)

The Client: A leading restaurant in the Food and Hospitality industry in fine African and Ghanaian 

Location:  Accra, Ghana

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the role shall be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the restaurant and kitchen floors to create a seamless customer experience
  • Overseeing the restaurant’s outdoor catering business and ensuring the smooth flow of orders in and out of the premises
  • Ensuring that staff conduct is in line with assigned responsibilities and deliverables
  • Improving service delivery and order to fulfillment turnaround times through the application of progressive management principles and practices
  • Working closely with the CEO to achieve the restaurant’s commercial goals and objectives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree-qualified in hospitality management or any related field
  • Cognate experience in managing a fast-moving restaurant business catering to a discerning international and local clientele; international experience will be an added advantage
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for handling staff and customers
  • Ability to work under pressure in meeting demanding quality and service expectations
